Road Directions

Based in Derby Road, the entrance is next to the car park behind Peel Police Station.  You can also access the Cathedral on foot from Atholl Street.

Public Transport Directions

The main bus terminus for Peel is next to the Cathedral, parking is available for cars and bikes.  Pedestrian access is available through the Derby Road entrance and Atholl Street entrance.

Admission to the Cathedral is free unless there is a ticketed event (e.g. a concert) on. Donations welcome to support the day to day work of the Cathedral and the development projects

Payment Methods

  • Approx length of visit - c40 minutes for inside of Cathedral. Gardens up to one hour to wander around including labyrinth which is an exact replica size wise of the one at Chartres Cathedral in France. Printed leaflets available inside the Cathedral for both Cathedral and gardens
  • BACS accepted - If you would like to make a BACS payment please contact the office on 01624 844830 for details. Donations for the Cathedral can also be put into the wall safe near to the internal door where you enter and exit the Cathedral (not the main entrance into porch area). If you would like to make a donation towards the gardens, envelopes are available on the table at the west end of the Cathedral and by the plans for the gardens.
  • Groups Accepted - Groups are very welcome - booking via Val Garrett at the Cathedral Office on 01624 844830 or mobile 07624 316001 or by emailing
  • Open by appointment outside normal opening times - Group visits can be arranged for tour of the Cathedral and/or gardens. Please email or telephone 07624 316001

* Open all year round. You are always welcome in the Cathedral, whether for worship or just to look around, learn more about the history, or perhaps simply to enjoy some quiet time on your own.
Morning Prayer 9am (Mon-Sat), Evening Prayer 5.30pm (Mon-Sat), Eucharist 8:30am (Sundays), and Taize service at 6pm on the last Saturday of the month.
