As well as a variety of trails, active tracks and glens, the Isle of Man offers a series of guided walks for all interests.
There are many qualified tour guides offering walks for all abilities that vary in length and location. Go-Mann Adventures offer a number of guided walks led by Dr Andrew Foxon, Manx Registered Tour Guide and qualified Hill and Moorland Leader.
They also offer a two-day Hill Skills course to develop the skills, confidence and inspiration to get out walking on the hills and in the beautiful Manx countryside. Intended for beginners, the course covers; planning, walking skills, clothing and equipment, weather, navigation, environmental knowledge, hazards and emergency procedures. Navigation courses are also available.
For a tour with a focus on the Island's unique history and heritage, registered Blue Badge Guide Chris Callow from Island Heritage Tours can take you on a meticulously researched, authorative and entertaining visit to one of the many sites scattered around our beautiful Island. Offering bespoke tours in the afternoon and evening, Chris will bring a wealth of insight into the Island's colourful past.
If you fancy the chance to spot some interesting wildlife, the Manx Wildlife Trust organise a series of guided walks during the year where you can explore parts of the Island you might not have considered before, whilst discovering wildlife along the way.
Or if you fancy a challenge, the Isle of Man offers popular walking events throughout the year such as the 85 mile Parish Walk. The Parish Walk is the Island’s notorious road-walking endurance event whilst the End 2 End Walk takes participants from the Island’s most northerly point to its most southerly.
And if you’re feeling particularly brave, Isle of Man Ghost Walks bring to life ghoulish characters and incidents from Manx history and myth. You’ll see the historic, winding streets of Douglas, Peel, Castletown and Ramsey come alive with strange and chilling echoes from the past.

It is crammed with walks for all abilities, guided by knowledgeable walk leaders who will accompany you through the Manx landscape.
