Ramble through Silverdale Glen beside the river, through quiet lanes whilst taking in the history of Rushen Abbey and the beauty of the open farmland.

Advice and Safety Information

Some areas of the glen may be muddy. Whilst walking along the footpaths, please be farm aware, and keep your dog on a lead when near livestock.

Leisurely - walks for reasonably fit people with at least a little country walking experience. The route will included some unsurfaced rural paths and tracks. Walking boots and suitable clothing are recommended.
