Rivendell Cottage is a recently refurbished 4 Star Gold Award Manx stone cottage in Union Mills, which is just 5 minutes drive from Douglas - the capital of the Isle of Man. With a pub less than a minute’s walk and store/post office and main bus stop just 2 minutes away, this self catering cottage is in an ideal location within a rural setting.

The cottage comprises of a living room with log burner and a sunroom overlooking the secluded patio. There is a well equipped kitchen and separate dining room. There are two comfortable double bedrooms, one double and one king size bed and an additional double sofa-bed is available in the sunroom. The bathroom comprises of an overhead and hand/rail held shower which is accessed directly from both bedrooms by two separate doors. The living room and sunroom both have smart televisions, with multiple channels and on-line content as well as a DVD player.

The outside patio has comfortable outdoor seating and a large gas BBQ.

The cottage is in an ideal place to relax and to explore the island, it’s just 3miles from Douglas and 7miles from Peel and Castletown and has lots of lovely walks on the doorstep, perfect if you are bringing your dog as the cottage is also pet friendly!

 

Lounge: Log burner (logs provided), TV, DVD player, 2 sofas, chair.

Dining room: Dining room table with bench seating and 2 chairs. 

Kitchen: Well equipped, containing dishwasher, automatic washer/dryer, microwave, fridge/freezer, cooker and coffee maker. 

Bedroom 1: King size bed, bedside cabinets, dressing table, chest of drawers, wardrobe.

Bedroom 2: Double bed, bedside cabinets, dressing table, chest of drawers, hangers. 

Bathroom: Two doors leading directly to both bedrooms, newly fitted with a large walk in shower

Sunroom: Large corner sofa and sofa bed which can be made up as a double bed if required. 

Parking: On street parking available immediately across the road. 

Garden: Gas fired BBQ, outdoor patio seating. 

Changeover Day: Flexible 3:00pm - departure 10:00am

Power and Heating: Electricity and oil fired heating included in rent.

Free Wifi: included

Bedding and Linen: Bed linen & towels provided, not including beach towels.

Baby Equipment: A cot and high chair are available at no extra charge. 

Pets: 2 well behaved dogs welcome

Shop: 0.1 ml Pub: 0.1 ml
