Set in the historic town of Ramsey, the second largest on the island, and commanding stunning views over Mooragh Lake and the island’s coast, Ramsey Park Hotel is an unprecedented location for leisure or business stays on the Isle of Man.

The hotel has 60 bedrooms, including 57 deluxe rooms and 3 spacious family rooms. It can accommodate up to 124 guests. Many of the rooms overlook the impressive lake and Sky Hill, other face the promenade and coastline with views towards Scotland and Cumbria in the distance. It has 4 M3i rates, fully accessible rooms and also 9 bedrooms with walk in showers.  

The Lake View Restaurant is a beautiful spot to enjoy a meal with an unrivalled views - serving simple, freshly prepared, home-cooked food at lunch and dinner.

Ramsey is north east of the Island and is only a 40 minute drive from the airport and 20 minutes from Douglas, the Ramsey park is ideally located for the sightseeing, beaches, golf courses and activities on this pretty island.

The hotel accepts groups and coach parties and has on-site car parking available. 

Free swimming in the local pool is available for hotel guests.

The Lake View Restaurant is open for Breakfast 7am to 9.30am Monday to Friday, 8am to 10am Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays.

Lunch is open daily 12pm to 2.30pm, Sunday Lunch has our resident pianist to entertain you.

Dinner is open 5.30pm to 9pm Monday to Saturday, Sunday Dinner is available between June and September 6pm to 8pm (closed throughout the Winter months).

Traveling By Car or Bike:

From Ronaldsway Airport to the hotel

Start out on the B53 Balthane Road and bear left onto B18 then turn right onto the A5. 

At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A5 signposted Douglas, After 1.3 miles, bear left on the A5 signposted Douglas. After 4.4 miles, take the 2nd exit on the roundabout onto the A5 signposted Onchan, Peel A1, Ramsey A2. At the roundabout take the 2nd exit, then at next roundabout take the 1st exit onto the A2 signposted Onchan, Ramsey, The North. At traffic signals continue forward onto Bray Hill - A2 then turn left at next traffic signals onto Ballanard Road - A22. At roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the A21. Turn left onto Hillberry Road - A18, and bear left onto the A18 signposted Snaefell, Ramsey. 

Continue on the A18 signposted Ramsey, then after 8 miles take the A2. At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A2 and at the next roundabout take the 1st exit onto the A2. Turn right onto North Shore Road and left onto Park Road.

The Hotel is at the end of the road on the right hand side.

From the Sea Terminal Building (16 miles)

Turn left onto Broadway - A22 signposted Nobles Park. At traffic signals continue forward onto the A22 Ballaquale Road - A22. At roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the A21 and turn

left onto Hillberry Road - A18. After 1.8 miles bear left onto the A18 signposted Snaefell, Ramsey. After several miles, continue onto the A18 signposted Ramsey. After 7 miles

follow the A2 and at the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A2 and at the next roundabout take the 1st exit onto the A2. Turn right onto North Shore Road and left into Park Road. The Hotel is at the end of the road on the right hand side.

Public Transport Directions

Travelling by Bus:

Take the 3 or 3A from Banks Circus, Douglas to Ramsey (journey takes approx. 50 mins)

Travelling by Rail:

Arrive in style! The Manx Electric Railway, built between 1893 and 1899, runs up the east coast of the island linking Douglas, Laxey and Ramsey, and operates with its original Victorian and Edwardian rolling stock through beautiful scenery.  It does not offer a service all year round (only March to November), so please check the website for the time table. 

Travelling by Air:

Most mainland airports run flights to the island.

If you are hiring a car, here are the directions from the airport to the Hotel (23 miles):
