Map & Directions

Road Directions

From Douglas, follow the road signs to Peel on the A1.  Just before the village of St. John's, turn right at the Ballacraine traffic lights onto the A3 Glen Helen Road.  Continue along the A3 for approximately 0.5 miles where the entrance to Glen Helen House is clearly signed on the right hand side.

From the airport, follow the exit signs from the car rental car park and turn right at the roundabout onto the A5. Continue on in the direction of Ballasalla turning left at the next roundabout. Continue striaght at the next roundabout, then take the first exit left at the following roundabout onto the A7.  After 0.7 miles turn right onto the A3 towards Foxdale.  Remain on this road for approximately 8 miles till you reach the Ballacraine traffic lights. Go straight ahead, continuing for approximately 0.5 iles where the entrance to Glen Helen House is clearly signed on the right hand side.

There are electric gates into the grounds which will automatically open and the house is clearly visible from the roadside.

Public Transport Directions

The nearest bus stops are located in St. John's (approximately 10/15 min walk) using the number 5 or 6 service routes and run every 30 minutes to Douglas, Peel or Ramsey.  There is a bus service that passes the property directly but please note, this is a limited service.

We would also like to point out that there are some areas where there is little or no pavement between St. John's village and our property due to the nature of the small country roads and there are no street lights.

Taxis are available to order.

There is ample parking if you are bringing your own vehicle or hiring.
