About

Fully modernised 17th Century Manx Barn in the heart of the southern countryside. The property consists of two floors containing kitchen, lounge, dining area, four bedrooms, all with ensuite, parking for up to 20 cars or over 100 motorbikes. Extremely private, away from the road and located on our internationally recognized rare breeds farm. 

The property consistently rates 5 stars and a gold award. Up to 13 people can easily be accommodated, with outside play areas for children, 100+ TV channels shown on the latest technology throughout, high speed wifi and stunning views of the South Coast. By car 5 minutes from Ballasalla, 12 from Castletown and 20 from Douglas.

Everything about "The Barn" has been completed to the highest possible standard and there is a fully equipped modern kitchen with top-of-the-range cooking, cooling and freezing facilities. In-house dining facilities are self-catering but we have contracts with a range of local restaurants who will supply food, preparation and even staff to serve and clean away on request.

For a large family gathering, wedding, small tour group, high level executive meeting, or even a yoga retreat or religious study session, this is the ultimate property. You simply will not find anything better on our tiny island. Why not treat yourself to the best of the best?

Guide Prices

The Barn at Ballaloaghtan operates seasonal pricing. In general the whole house is let as follows: (add 5% VAT to prices shown, discount 10% for stays of 1 week or more, enquire for longer lets of 1 month plus). The minimum let is 3 days, 7 days during TT.
Off Season: 200.00 per night weekdays, 350 per night weekends (Fri, Sat) (January-June, September-December)
High Season: 350.00 per night (December 20-January 2, July, August)
TT: 450.00 per night.

* The Barn at Ballaloaghtan is generally booked for TT 2-3 years in advance. The Barn recommends contacting them directly for TT bookings at least three years ahead of your stay. Special rates are in effect and the minimum booking is one week.

    For bookings made by Manx residents we offer the choice of two enhancements either:

    A 10% discount from the base room booking price (e.g. on a booking of 3 nights at £350 per night, discount £105), or;

    For every three nights booked, receive an additional night at no extra charge (e.g. 4 for the price of 3, 8 for the price of 6, and so on)

    There are no blackout periods for these offers, they can even be used at Christmas, New Year or during TT. And no limit to the number of times they can be used.
