About

The Celtic Match Races is one of the most prestigious team competitions in motorcycle racing, bringing together top solo and sidecar competitors from the Isle of Man, Ireland, Scotland and Wales to compete for national pride and the historic Celtic Sword of State. Returning to the Isle of Man in 2026, the event will be hosted at Jurby on 26th & 27th September and is expected to attract many of the biggest names in short circuit and road racing from across the four nations.

Current holders Scotland will arrive looking to defend the Sword after their victory at East Fortune in 2025, while the Isle of Man team will be determined to reclaim the famous trophy on home soil. Combining fierce competition, international rivalry and a fantastic paddock atmosphere, the Celtic Match Races is a unique celebration of Celtic motorsport.
