The new home of Vivaldi Catering - The Cook Shack, our bespoke Cookery school, nestled in a northern cottage garden with views to Scotland and Cumbria, a building which has been made with love and waney cedar with a metal roof is truly beautiful.
We offer an inspiring programme of cookery courses, a Manx Plough to Plate Experience and made to order Gourmet Picnics.
Manx Plough to Plate
Held in the summer months, this exciting venture between Smeale Farm and Vivaldi Catering takes people on the Manx food journey from the Farm to the Kitchen Table. It involves a guided farm tour of Smeale Farm commencing at 10.30am followed by a wildlife conservation area walk and information about the rich farm heritage. At 12.30pm it's on to Vivaldi Catering's kitchen, a mile from the farm for cookery tuition/demonstrations focusing on Manx produce and a delicious luncheon make with the finest, local, seasonal produce.
