Surby Croft is a luxury detached holiday cottage situated in quiet hamlet of Surby near Port Erin in the Isle of Man. The property was newly built in 2018 and is finished to a very high contemporary five star gold standard. The Cottage offers ample off road parking and enjoys an excellent location in beautiful countryside. The surrounding hills and valleys make it an ideal location for mountain bikers, walkers and families.  We accept one small dog per booking and offer flexible short stays, minimum 4 nights. With rolling countryside, coastal walks, golf courses, historical sites and sandy beaches there is plenty to do on the Isle of Man. Surby Croft really is the perfect place to relax and unwind.

The superb accommodation comprises 3 double bedrooms (2 ensuite). All bedrooms can be adapted to superking or single beds on request. The master bedroom has a superbly comfortable super king size bed with high thread count Egyptian cotton crisp white bed linen. The master bedroom has quality solid oak furniture comprising large double wardrobe, dressing table, bedside tables and chest of drawers. The adjoining ensuite has a walk in shower, wc and sink. The second bedroom has twin zip and link beds with crisp white Egyptian cotton bedding. The quality solid wood bedroom furniture comprises wardrobe, chest of drawers, dressing table and bedside tables. The bedroom also has a convenient ensuite with shower, wc and sink. Sumptuously soft luxurious white towels are provided. The second bedroom has views to the south at the front and over the Fleshwick hills to the west. The third bedroom again has zip and link beds with Egyptian cotton bedding and solid oak bedroom furniture comprising double wardrobe, tallboy chest and bedside tables. This bedroom has level access from the main entrance door. The main bathroom features a walk in shower, wc and sink and a large bath.

The bright sunny lounge features a large corner sofa perfect for relaxing after a long day. There is a smart tv in the lounge and electrically operated blinds. The lounge has quality solid oak furniture. The high gloss contemporary kitchen has an electric range, fridge freezer, integrated dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, coffee machine with pods and separate tumble dryer. Ironing facilities are provided and there is a full range of Denby crockery, cutlery and kitchen equipment. There is central heating throughout and the lounge has the benefit of underfloor heating. The property can comfortably sleep 6 people. All bedding and towels are provided. Children are welcome and the cottage is smoke free. There is free wifi available and a welcome pack is provided on arrival. 

Baby equipment such as a travel cot and high chair are provided. We also provide a selection of baby toys.

Outside there is patio area with table and chairs which is suntrap on warm evenings, guests always enjoy relaxing here. The garden room has a pool table for guests' use and we also provide beach equipment and games.

Surby Croft is approximately 5 miles from the airport at Castletown and 10 miles from the Sea Terminal in Douglas. The nearest village, Port Erin, is only a 2 minute drive away.

There are plenty of activites available as well as the Isle of Man tourist attractions. Guests may be interested in the following:

Road Directions

From Douglas take the A5 to Ballasalla, turn right at the Whitestone Hotel. Follow the A7 South through Ballabeg and Colby. At the large roundabout continue straight ahead. You will then need to take the next sharp right hand turn towards Surby/Fleshwick. Continue past the small Ballafesson Chapel and take the next right hand turn. Continue up Surby Hill for approx 1/2 mile, and carry on left where the road branches off. Surby Croft is on the right immediately past the red postbox.
