About

Roy Cottage is a traditional Manx cottage, which has been lovingly restored as self-catering holiday accommodation. The cottage has been fitted out to a very high standard and is an extremely comfortable home from home for the leisure or business visitor. The cottage is non-smoking, no pets allowed and we only accept children over 10 years of age.

Roy Cottage has one double bedroom, with a bathroom (large shower only) next door. The lounge has a sofa bed, which can accommodate an extra person.  The kitchen is very modern and well equipped, with oven and separate hob, dishwasher, washer/dryer and Nespresso coffee machine. Every room has magnificent sweeping sea views over Castletown Bay and Derbyhaven.

There are two digital televisions, one with a DVD player, and complimentary broadband. Gas and electricity are included in the accommodation charge in the summer months (a £21.00 weekly supplement between 1st October and 30th April is added). Bed linen, bath and beach towels are provided. The cottage is cleaned weekly.  Welcome packs are available at an extra charge. Car parking spaces are available outside the cottage.

Roy Cottage is a very easy five-minute walk to historic Castletown. The town has a distinctive charm with many historical sites, good local amenities, shops, restaurants and pubs (including the famous 'Glue Pot' inn). Just outside Castletown are the beautiful countryside and beaches of Derbyhaven, Scarlett and Langness. There are nine golf courses on the Isle of Man and Castletown is an ideal base for a golfing holiday. There is a sailing centre nearby at Port St Mary, walking and cycling trails all around the island.

Roy Cottage is a wonderful holiday home, picturesque and comfortable, an ideal base, all year round for your visit to the Isle of Man.
