About

Manx Lavender offers you a Lavender Farmer Experience!

We'll begin by welcoming you and involving you in deciding what the day's priorities will be. You will learn about varieties, harvesting, and bundling in the lavender field, moving on to optimum drying techniques and creating the purest of essential oils.  Learn how to cut, bundle and hang lavender and get involved with operating the still to create the powerfully fragrant end result. Pure lavender essential oil, grown, harvested and distilled right here in the Isle of Man.

You can do as much or as little as works for you, let us know if you have any special needs. You don't have to be super fit at all, we'll all work as a group and welcome differing levels of fitness and mobility.

Please bring a packed lunch and you will be welcome to picnic in the lavender field or the cider apple orchard when we finish. Take lots of photos!  We work with small groups, a maximum of 15, participants need to be 16 and over.
