About

Langton Cottage is an attractive self catering holiday home enjoying a fabulous location by the side of the outer harbour in Port St Mary.

Built in 1840, this former quarryman’s cottage retains many of its original features yet has been fully updated to provide comfortable, cosy and homely accommodation.

Langton Cottage is ideally suited to those who wish to enjoy a quiet seaside escape and have access to outdoor life; with boat trips on your door step and brilliant coastal walks nearby - the one to Port Erin on the Raad Ny Foillan is a particular favourite. Chapel Beach is a pleasant walk away - walk The Underway to this family friendly beach, situated beneath the promenade in Port St Mary.

The rear of the property and the garden enjoy fabulous views over the outer harbour and distant mountains. There is always something happening on the water be it arriving visiting yachts, sail training/racing yachts, dive boats, charter boats or the arrival of the fishing fleet. Enjoy a BBQ or simply relax over a glass of wine and take in the atmosphere of this lovely place.

Port St Mary is a quiet seaside village where you will no doubt find ultimate relaxation. Local restaurants and cafes provide excellent places to eat and there is a magnificent pub just a two minute walk from Langton Cottage. The Steam Railway Station is within easy reach and there is a regular bus service, so exploring the rest of the island is easy! The Southern 100 Course is just three miles away too.

Langton Cottage is managed by local self-catering accommodation company Island Escapes. To book Langton Cottage, please visit their website.
