About

Imperial House is an apartment spread over two floors, a ground floor and a basement. Perfect for a family group it is located in a prime position on the promenade in Peel, Isle of Man with spectacular views of the seaside and Peel Castle. Just across the road is Peel beach, a family favourite for those warm summer days, who flock to the nearby ice cream parlours and eateries.

The apartment features a spacious lounge area with lovely views out to sea and across the beach. Two bedrooms are also on the ground floor. Head down the stair case into the basement you will find the kitchen, and an additional bedroom. The basement does benefit from some natural light from small windows contained within.

Peel has plentiful bars and restaurants, all within a short walk of Imperial House. You'll be spoilt for choice! The high street is also nearby, just a few minutes walk away. Here you can find shops and one of two supermarkets in Peel.

The heritage sites of Peel, namely Peel Castle - which dates back to the Vikings in the 10th century - on St Patrick's Isle and the House of Mannanan where you can step through history and learn about past times and superstitions of the island.

Peel is also a great base for walkers and cyclists with an abundance of hills and countryside nearby. Don't forget to take a look at the Raad-Ny-Foillan coastal footpath which winds through Peel, a perfect way to explore the coast. Watersport enthusiasts are also catered for with kayak hire, fishing, boat trips and Basking Shark watch. It's also very common to see Dolphins in the bay!

With 26 amazing official dark sky sites dotted around the Island, heading out stargazing is the perfect night time activity for the whole family. Follow the coastal path around Peel Castle to enjoy the panoramic views looking out to sea. With minimal light pollution, it’s a perfect place to admire the stars over the North West and South.

Accessibility: Imperial House is split over two floors, the basement and the ground floor. The ground floor contains two bedrooms, a bathroom and a lounge area.

Damage: Important! We are committed to protecting our properties which is why we now take a £35 fee from each booking as a damage waiver. This is included in the price you pay and covers you for up to £500 worth of accidental damages to the property that could occur whilst you are staying.

Road Directions

The property is located on Peel promenade which has unrestricted free car parking and where there are fantastic views of Peel Castle, the surrounding hills and coastline. There is a bus stop 100 metres away which is also right by the side of the sandy beach. There are many amenities close at hand including ice cream parlours and coffee shop, fish and chip shop, an all-day kiosk serving food and drink and a public house with an excellent food menu. Then take a gentle stroll just a little further down the road to a lovely marina where you will find great restaurants, public houses and an excellent museum.
