With unique views across Peel Marina and Peel Castle on St. Patrick’s Isle, the newly renovated St. Patrick’s Isle Suite in the House of Manannan is ideal for an intimate ceremony for up to 40 guests. The light and airy space is a blank canvas to add your own colour scheme, flowers and finishing touches. Photo opportunities in the galleries or on a fine day, in the grounds of Peel Castle. Other galleries offer other opportunities for a unique wedding set.

Alternatively, hold your ceremony in Peel Castle and enjoy dramatic views across Peel bay in this ancient fortress for open air ceremonies, blessings and photographs. Situated on St Patrick's Isle, the castle offers a romantic setting and is steeped in history dating back over seven thousand years. The Castle and St Patrick's Isle's previous uses have included a New Stone Age Settlement, Monastery and a Viking Fortification.

The 16th century Garrison Hall, a few metres south of the Round Tower, is approved for up to 70 guests. The Bowling Green provides an outdoor area was used for target practice, first by bowmen and later by musketeers, and is now approved for up to 150 guests. Note ceremonies held at Peel Castle are subject to a provision of an indoor venue as a weather contingency. 

Manx National Heritage in partnership with Event Management Solutions Ltd now offer a wide range of unique venues for weddings, corporate meetings and functions or special occasions.


Conferences and Meetings

The meeting space on the top floor of the House of Manannan offers a wonderful vista across Peel marina to St. Patrick’s Isle and the magnificent ancient fortress of Peel Castle, guranteed to wow your guests for a presentation, meeting or workshop.

The ground floor exhibition gallery displays changing art and heritage exhibitions, and is a spacious and modern venue for drinks receptions. See the latest and upcoming exhibitions in our What’s On.

Also offering round tables and on site catering, the venue can host dining events or corporate receptions or the whole site can be hired for your special event.
