About

Glenfaba Lodge is large self-catering holiday home, suitable for family groups, located just outside of the small coastal town of Peel, Isle of Man.

The setting is tranquil and is perfect for a relaxing escape. The house is set in a secluded location amongst a large wild garden, which forms part of a conservation effort to bring together the largest connected mixed woodland in the west of the island.

The house itself provides a spacious place to unwind after a day of exploring the Isle of Man, ensuring a comfortable and memorable stay. Socialise in the living area on the second floor containing seating for all 10 guests and a roaring log burner, which extends out onto the balcony area that overlooks the Neb valley to St Johns and the hills beyond.

The well-equipped kitchen is on the ground floor and contains all modern amenities, including a wine fridge, and the extendable dining table can seat all 10 guests. Containing five bedrooms and four bathrooms, three of which are en-suite, Glenfaba Lodge is perfect for family groups.

Glenfaba Lodge for all its' secluded location is perfectly situated for accessing Peel. Either drive 5 minutes into Peel or take a leisurely 15 minute stroll along the River Neb, taking in the scenic Steam Heritage Trail. This is a popular family friendly walking and cycling route between Peel and Douglas on an historic railway track, repurposed for recreational use.

Once in Peel, there is much to be explored. You can access the Manx National Heritage sites such as Peel Castle and the House of Manannan, to learn of the Isle of Man's storied past. A working fishing port, Peel is a fabulous place to try the local cuisine, fresh from the day's catch. Explore the many seaside restaurants and pubs, showcasing fine local ales. Known locally as 'Sunset City', there is no better place to marvel at a Manx sunset.

Glenfaba Lodge sits amongst a 4-acre private garden, a conservation haven where you can spot local wildlife and enjoy bird and bat watching amidst lush greenery. Ideal for nature enthusiasts, our sanctuary offers a serene escape into the heart of nature.

If staying with children, please make sure you are aware of the hazards on Glenfaba Lodge's grounds. These are detailed below and in the digital guidebook.
