Guests with restricted mobility will find Cummal Beg easy to access with everything on one level and parking available immediately outside the front door.

Less than half a mile from the Billown Circuit, the apartments offer the ideal base for those looking to watch the Southern 100 Road Races which takes place in early July each year and the pre-TT classic in late May. Ballabeg railway station is a 10 minute stroll, where you can catch the Isle of Man Steam Railway south to Port Erin or Port St Mary and north to Castletown and Douglas. The Isle of Man has an excellent frequent bus service with a bus stop immediately opposite the apartments offering direct connections to the airport and sea terminal up to 3 times per hour.

Road Directions

From Airport

From the Airport Terminal, head south on the A5, following the signs for Castletown and the South.In Castletown, at the first roundabout turn right, following the signs for Port Erin and Port St Mary.  At the second roundabout turn right again, following the signs for Port Erin and Port St Mary.  Head straight over the traffic lights onto the Castletown bypass.  Turn right at Ballakeegan Farm onto the A7, following the signs for Ballabeg and Colby Continue along into Ballabeg and The Friary Apartments can be found standing alone on the first left-hand corner.

From Sea Terminal

From the Sea Terminal head south towards Douglas harbour, following the signs for Castletown.  Head over the swing bridge and at the roundabout turn rightonto South Quay.  Go through the first roundabout, continuing along South Quay.  At the second roundabout, continue straight ahead onto the Old Castletown Road.  Continue along the Old Castletown Road, going up Kewaigue Hill with Douglas Golf Club on your right hand side.  At the roundabout, turn left on the A5 towards Castletown.  Once you have reached Ballasalla, turn right at the first roundabout and left at the second roundabout onto the A7, following the directions for Ballabeg and Colby.  Arriving in Ballabeg, turn right at the junction.  The Friary Apartments can be found standing alone on the first left-hand corner.
