St Johns Farmers' Market

Type:Farmers Market

St Johns Farmers' Market

About

St Johns Farmers' Market takes place every Thursday at St Johns Church Hall, from 11am - 3pm.

These markets are organised by Isle of Farmers' Markets which is an affiliation of people who wish to promote the growing, making and selling of Manx food and products. The Island has a rich history of markets through which Farmers and producers have traditionally sold their own produce. These markets were not only an essential source of food for the local community, they also a vital focal point for meeting and socialising.

Isle of Man Farmers' Markets is working to revive this tradition, both by promoting existing markets on the island and by assisting in the creation of further markets.

There are a number of markets hosted regularly around the Island, as well as some special events.
