Perched above Spaldrick Beach, Spaldrick View Cottage is a charming former fisherman’s cottage with panoramic views of the Calf of Man and Bradda Head. A hidden gem on the Isle of Man, this self-catering holiday home combines 130 years of family heritage with modern comforts, offering an unforgettable coastal retreat.

One of the original seaside cottages overlooking Spaldrick Beach, this cottage has been cherished by generations and a much-loved holiday home for over 20 years. Inside, historic photographs highlight its deep connection to the sea. Thoughtfully updated, the cottage retains its traditional charm while offering modern amenities for a comfortable stay.

From the moment you arrive, you'll feel at home. Wake up to the sound of the waves and enjoy your morning coffee with breathtaking sea views. Relax in the cosy living room as gannets dive, fish leap and basking sharks glide through the bay. The front garden provides a peaceful spot to soak up the fresh sea air and watch spectacular sunsets over Port Erin Bay.

Just across the road, a scenic pathway leads directly down to secluded Spaldrick Beach, perfect for a quiet stroll or a refreshing sea dip. Port Erin's charming shops, cafes, and restaurants are just a short walk away, making it easy to explore the village's warm hospitality.

With stunning coastal walks on your doorstep, including trails to Bradda Head and beyond, Spaldrick View Cottage is the perfect escape for nature lovers, couples and families looking to unwind by the sea.

Ground Floor

Kitchen
: Well-equipped kitchen, including hob, oven, fridge, microwave and washing machine.

Living room: A comfortable sofa, three armchairs, TV and spectacular sea views from all chairs!

Dining room: Dining table with seating for up to 6 people and sideboard.

Outdoor area: A back garden which is a great suntrap with an outdoor table and chairs. There is also an outhouse where the freezer is situated.

First Floor

Bedroom 1:
Double bed, bedside tables, chest of drawers and built-in wardrobe.

Bedroom 2: King size bed, bedside tables, chest of drawers, wardrobe, dressing table and beautiful sea views over Port Erin.

Bedroom 3: Single bed, bedside table, chest of drawers, wardrobe and extensive sea views.

Family bathroom: Shower over bath and wash hand basin, with WC separate.

Second Floor

Bedroom 4:
Single bed, chest of drawers, wardrobe, small desk and extensive sea views from the large Velux window.

General

Parking: On-street parking is available and in plentiful supply on the road immediately outside.

EV Charging: Electric vehicle charging is not available at the property, however, there are numerous charging points in Port St Mary & Port Erin.

Changeover Day: Flexible. Arrival 4:00pm - departure 10:00am.

Pets: Pets not accepted.

Baby Equipment: A travel cot and high chair are available for guests' use at no additional charge.

Power & Heating: Heating & Electricity included.

WiFi: Free WiFi included.

Bedding & Linen: Bed linen and towels provided, please bring your own beach towels.

Accessibility: Spaldrick View Cottage is set over three levels and may not be suitable for those with limited mobility.

Damage: Important! We are committed to protecting our properties which is why we now take a £35 fee from each booking as a damage waiver. This is included in the price you pay and covers you for up to £500 worth of accidental damages to the property that could occur whilst you are staying.

Road Directions

If you arrive on a flight:

Turn left out of the airport (at the first roundabout) and follow the signs for Port Erin (about 6 miles). Keep going until you reach Station Road in Port Erin.
At the end of Station Road take a right and follow the promenade up the hill. Keep going until the road levels off and Spaldrick View is 100 metres on the right before the entrance to Bradda Glen.

If you arrive on the ferry

On exiting the ferry terminal, turn left and follow the road signs for Castletown and the South. Follow the A5, pass the airport then follow signs to Port Erin.
At the end of Station Road take a right and follow the promenade up the hill. Keep going until the road levels off and Spaldrick View is 100 metres on the right before the entrance to Bradda Glen.
