About

New for summer 2024!

Introducing Scarlett View, a breathtakingly renovated self-catering holiday home located in Castletown, Isle of Man.

This tranquil haven offers an unforgettable seaside escape. With sweeping views of the charming Castletown Bay and Scarlett, you'll be treated to nature's beauty from the comfort of your own private haven. Light and airy, guests can feel at one with the sea.

Scarlett View features four bedrooms, two of which are downstairs, and sleeps up to eight people. The open plan downstairs area stretches across the back of the house, creating a modern space perfect for socialising with a spectacular sea view as a backdrop! Step down into the stylishly landscaped garden. Here you can relax of an evening with your feet on the wall, gazing out to sea. Back inside Scarlett View, it is furnished with the latest features, including LED feature lighting, a projector in the main bedroom and other hidden gadgets.

A short walk from the technology of Scarlett View is Castletown, a historic town in the south of the Isle of Man. Visit local Manx National Heritage sites; Castle Rushen, a castle which has stood for 800 years and The Nautical Museum, home to Peggy, the earliest known example of a British armed yacht. The Isle of Man Steam Railway, 150 years old itself as of 2023, runs from Castletown station and connects the town with the island's capital Douglas and the seaside villages of Port Erin and Port St Mary.

Enjoy a coastal walk from Scarlett View round to Scarlett itself. Access the beach via a lane just a minute's walk away and carry on a route which can take you on the Raad Ny Foillan footpath round to Port St Mary. If you do take this route, you will pass The Shore Hotel in Gansey, a fine place to stop for lunch. Of course Castletown itself has many lovely pubs and places to eat!

Scarlett View is a self-catering holiday cottage managed by local company Island Escapes. Please visit their website to make a booking.
