The Visit Isle of Man website is owned by the Isle of Man Government.
The Isle of Man is one of few places in the world that can offer the variety of cultural experiences, historic environments and natural landscapes to be found in such close proximity. Therefore, the Island’s landscape and reputation must be protected for the long term benefit of visitors and residents alike.
The Isle of Man tourism sector works to bring more visitors from outside the Island and this Site acts as one of the main channels for promotion. It also continues to strive to enhance the Isle of Man for residents and visitors by fostering high standards and providing up-to-date information on the numerous attractions, activities and events available on the Island.
The aim is to build awareness and interest in the Isle of Man as a visitor destination and encourage the desire to book a visit to the Island. The information on this Site, including where to stay and things to do has been put together to highlight the diverse variety of what the Isle of Man has to offer.
The Marketing team at the Department of Economic Development is responsible for updating the Site’s content as a way of promoting the Isle of Man as a visitor destination. They use a variety of communications channels via a coordinated annual plan which targets specific identified segments with relevant messages and information.
