The Scheme can provide financial assistance to local businesses where: -
- Permanent roles are filled by either off-Island workers, recent on-Island graduates or Manx graduates returning to the Island; and
- Seasonal roles are filled by off-Island workers or Manx students currently studying off-Island.

Financial support of up to 30% towards vocational training courses and apprenticeships that proposes to improve individual skills, effectiveness and benefit the employer by increasing productivity, expanding offerings and/or increase revenues.

The Business Start-Up Scheme supports new start-ups or businesses trading for less than 18 months, with an actual or predicted turnover between £25,500 and £100,000 within the first 12 months of trading.
