The Visit Isle of Man events team are here to support visitor events through financial assistance, marketing and promotion and to act as a catalyst for the development of new events.
The team's primary focus is to support the Island's event organisers in their endeavours by;
· Developing new events
· Building effective and collaborative partnerships with event organisers and stakeholders
· Facilitating event organisers with access to the Department for Enterprise's marketing expertise initiatives
· Leveraging spin-offs for activity breaks from events
· Continuing support for winning and recurring annual events
Financial assistance to event organisers is delivered through the Tourist Event Development Scheme (TEDS), which offers a guarantee against loss.
