Looking for event support?

If you are organising an event that is likely to attract participants and spectators to the Island in its own right, then get in touch with the Visit Isle of Man Events team. 

You will be sent the Tourist Events Development Scheme (TEDS) application form, which will then be reviewed by the Tourism Events Committee at the end of September each year. Please note applications may be considered at other times. 

The key consideration when applying to the TEDS is ask yourself - is my event one that will directly bring visitors to the Island? If so, then it may be a candidate for support. 

Applications to the TEDS are assessed against a number of criteria, including;

• Number of visitors

• Number of bednights

• Seasonality

• Cost per visitor

• Exchequer benefit

• Return on investment; and 

• Positive media coverage

• The scheme is all about attracting visitors who would not otherwise come to the Island were it no for the special event.

If you feel your event is one that visitors who are already here may casually attend, then it is likely it will not be eligible for support. However you can still submit your event to appear on the visitisleofman.com website by completing the Submit Your Event Form.
