Visit Isle of Man is organising a free Travel Trade Workshop designed for on-island businesses that currently engage with the travel trade or are interested in becoming travel trade ready.
The workshop will be led by Karin, an experienced consultant with over 25 years in product development, contracting, marketing, and sales for tour operators and DMCs. Having worked with CIE Tours International, Abbey Group, and Rabbie’s, she has extensive experience in coach tours, FITs, luxury travel, and ad hoc groups. As a former buyer, she understands exactly what tour operators and DMCs expect from suppliers.
For over a decade, Karin has delivered travel trade training workshops on topics such as itinerary planning, product development, fam trips, working with DMCs, online bookability, and distribution channels. She has trained organisations including VisitScotland, UKinbound, VisitEngland, and VisitAberdeenshire.
This workshop is ideal for hotels, activity and attraction providers, and Destination Management Companies (DMCs). It is particularly targeted at professionals in business development, sales, operations, and reservations roles within these organisations.
Attendees will gain insights into working effectively with the travel trade, enhancing their product offerings, and expanding their reach through trade partnerships.
