Back for its second year, Manx Menu will run from 14th February to 31st March 2025 giving Manx hospitality businesses and local producers the opportunity to demonstrate the very best of what the Isle of Man has to offer.
The inaugural Manx Menu 2024 saw over 100 entries from a diverse selection of local businesses gaining thousands of votes from the public, and all benefiting from the extensive marketing campaign around the contest. The winners shared a total of £9,500 in additional marketing support for their business.

Benefit from the extensive marketing and PR campaign which may include digital, newspaper, social media, journalism and direct mail advertising. Receive branded content which will help promote your business and attract customers throughout the Manx Menu contest.
Opportunity to win a share of £9,500 worth of prizes in the form of marketing support across eleven unique competition categories. These marketing prizes can include photography, videography and funding for local advertisements/marketing campaigns. Winners will also receive Manx Menu winner plaques and trophies to display within their venue.
For Hospitality Businesses:

Overall Manx Menu Award | All who enter three or more of Small Plate, Large Plate, Dessert, Cocktail will be eligible for this award. The winner will have also won one of those categories | Additional £500 |
Customer Service Award | All entrants into the above categories will automatically be entered into the Customer Service Award | £1,000 |
To celebrate the front of house staff, this year the public will be invited to not only rate the businesses’ customer service, but they will also have an opportunity to nominate a specific team member. Three dedicated prizes will be available in the form of vouchers for the highest nominated server, barista and bartender.

With any entry the business will have the opportunity to opt into one or both additional categories. Applicants will then be sent a secondary application form to complete to explain how they meet the criteria. The winners of these awards will be selected by specialist judges rather than public vote.

Step 1: Create Your Entry
- Craft an intriguing description for your entry.
- Come up with a catchy name.
- Be sure to highlight Manx ingredients and their suppliers.
Step 2: Add a Photo
- Upload a high-quality landscape photo of your entry.
Step 3: Submit and Promote
- Don’t forget to promote your entry during the 6-week voting period starting from 14 February 2025.
To be eligible for Manx Menu 2025, your business must meet one of the following criteria:
A commercial food business registered with the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture (DEFA), such as cafés, restaurants, growers, and producers.
A commercial premises with an on-licence under the Licensing Act 1995, such as bars, nightclubs, and public houses, whether or not they serve food.
Hospitality businesses must be open for a significant portion of the contest period (14th February to 31st March 2025), and products entered into the Product of the Year categories must be available for public purchase during this time.
