The Isle of Man Government has taken the decision, as a result of the ongoing global COVID-19 pandemic, to cancel the 2021 Isle of Man TT Races, which were due to take place from Saturday 29th May to Saturday 12th June.

This decision does not necessarily mean that the Island’s borders will remain closed by June of next year, or that visitors will not be permitted to travel to the Island during the period that the TT would have taken place next year. The decision confirms that the TT 2021 event will unfortunately not be taking place. We will endeavour to keep you as up-to-date as possible of any decisions concerning the border restrictions.

We are aware of the impact this decision will have on tourism industry businesses and a further announcement regarding support for Travel and Tourism operators affected by this decision is also included below. We request that all tourism businesses contact visitors that have bookings for the 2021 TT Races to discuss the options available to them. This includes any visitor bookings that have been previously transferred from the cancelled 2020 TT Races.

We would urge you to read the following documents which provide further detail around the decision and will help to answer any initial queries you may have:

Should you have any further questions or concerns after reading the documents please do not hesitate to contact the Visit Isle of Man team using the email address accommodation.dfe@gov.im or telephone 01624 686663 as the team are here to help.
