Cushag is a charming detached two bedroom bungalow with beautiful views of the Islands West coast. Relax and enjoy the stunning sunsets whilst sipping a cool drink in the peaceful garden. Cushag is situated in the lovely village of Kirk Michael and although it is on the renowned TT motorcycle course it is set in a quiet area on a private road.

It is ideally situated to explore the nearby Glens with excellent walking and cycle trails and a lovely beach within walking distance. The location allows you after a short drive to visit the many treasures that the West coast has to offer including nearby Peel with its sandy beach and Viking castle or the nearby Wildlife Park.

The property offers two large bedrooms. One has a king size bed and the other a double and single bed. It has a family bathroom with small bath and shower along with a separate toilet.

There is a well equipped kitchen and pantry to meet all your culinary needs. The spacious comfortable lounge with TV has a dining area which opens onto a large furnished sun lounge/games room ideal for relaxing in the evenings.

Guests have sole use of the large sunny enclosed rear garden and furnished patio area including an outdoor BBQ where you can relax in the evening whilst sipping a glass of wine or hot chocolate and enjoying the wonderful sunsets over the sea. For your enjoyment there is a selection of books/ games, a large air hockey table and free WIFI.

The drive at the front of the property is reserved for guests with space for two cars.

Cushag benefits from being within walking distance of the village amenities which include a Pub, Shop, Butchers, Post office, Petrol station, Chemist, Church and delightful Tea room for that special afternoon treat. It is within walking distance of the beach and Glen Wyllin and there is easy access to a number of public pathways and bicycle trails from which you can enjoy the stunning local countryside. Brochures, timetables, maps, activity schedules etc. are available in the house for you to browse.

Road Directions

Follow the main A6 Douglas to Ramsey Road (TT Course). The turn into Station Road is located on the first left turn just past the Mitre Hotel, when travelling from Douglas to Ramsey. Continue straight down Station Road, Cooil Avenue is the third turn on the right. Cushag is located half way along Cooil Avenue.

Public Transport Directions

Whilst it is advisable to have access to a vehicle in order to get maximum enjoyment from the surronding area and the overall attractions and beauty of the Island, Kirk Michael is served by a regular bus service to Ramsey, Peel and Douglas, from where onward conections can be made to many other parts of the Island. Taxi Services are also available in Kirk Michael, Peel and Ramsey. A car can also be hired from numerous Local and Multi-National Carhire Companies.
