About
Nine beautiful homes set within the grounds of an exclusive equestrian centre. Each one is individually named after a famous race horse - 'Nijinski', 'Red Rum', 'Desert Orchid', 'Secretariat', 'Arkle', 'Northern Dancer', ‘Kelso’, ‘Hedgehunter’, and ‘Admiral’. These homes cater for between one and eight people, all of which accept pets and five are disabled friendly. Bookings are available throughout the year. Ballavartyn is an ideal location from which you can go out and explore the Manx countryside, just 5 minutes from Douglas, is close to the airport, sea terminal and a whole host of local attractions.
Home 1 – Nijinski

This is a charming home is for up to 2 guests. With a cosy dining/living area and open plan kitchen, bathroom, large bedroom with king size bed and small spare room. This can be used as a dressing room/study or we can provide a Z bed if needed. Bed linen, towels and tea towels are provided. Cots and highchairs are available upon request. Free Wi-Fi available.

Home 2 - Desert Orchid

This lovely holiday home has a downstairs sitting room with open plan dining/kitchen, a large private patio and bathroom. Bookings
Check-In
From 2pm but if you are arriving on an early boat please speak to us as we may be able to check you in earlier.
Check-Out
Is 12 noon, but if you have an evening boat please speak to us and we may be able to check you out later.
Isle of Man TT and Manx Grand Prix Week
During TT and Manx Grand Prix there is a minimum booking of 1 week.
Pets
Dogs are welcome in all Homes. They must be kept on a lead when on the property. Owners are responsible for picking up waste. We also offer an onsite Kennels providing Day Care and Boarding.
Changes & Cancellations
May be made up to 7 days before arrival without charge. If you cancel your booking between 2-6 days before arrival we will retain your deposit. The full value of your booking may be charged if changes/cancellations are made within 48 hours of arrival.
