About
Ballacrye Beg is a new addition adjoining the traditional Manx farmhouse of Ballacrye and has its own entrance and parking. It is situated close to the hamlet of Sandygate in the North of the Island in a lovely country setting. Guests are welcome to use the large garden and to wander around the surrounding fields including the wildflower meadow which is a site of special scientific interest. In the summer months the meadowis a profusion of orchids and rarer plants such as the whorled caraway, set against the stunning backdrop of Snaefell and the hills.The cottage has a small vestibule and hall leading to a sitting room with comfortable seating, a small dining table and a wood burning stove.The kitchen is fully-equipped and guests are provided with a food starter-pack with tea, coffee, milk, eggs, bread, butter, cheese, jams, Manx honey, fruit, wine etc. The bedroom sleeps 2, with two 3ft beds which can be made up as one large bed as required.All bedding, sheets and towels is included in the rental. The bathroom has a bath, shower and shower screen.
