From cocktail bars to country pubs, there’s plenty of places to enjoy a well-deserved drink or a bite to eat on the Isle of Man.

As a small Island famous for its food, there’s something to suit every group of visitors – whether it’s couples, families or groups of friends.

The Island’s country pubs offer picture postcard views, local quality food and a cosy environment to relax. Perfect for families, many of them include an outside play area to keep the littles ones entertained until the food arrives.

If it’s a quiet drink you’re after, you’ll find many pubs on the Isle of Man that are better-suited for just the grown-ups, particularly in the evenings and weekends. You’ll find these dotted all over the Island so there is bound to be one in close proximity to where you’re staying.

The Isle of Man is a beautiful tranquil place during the day, but as the sun goes down you’ll get to experience the Island’s diverse nightlife. So if you’re looking for a party atmosphere, an evening in Douglas – the Island’s Capital – is the place for you. Whether its cocktails and tapas with the girls, beers and burgers with the lads or a quality glass of wine and nibbles with your other half, there are plenty of options along the Promenade and the Quayside.

Douglas also offers several nightclubs that are open until the early hours, often with international guest DJs playing or themed nights out. If you want to have a good old dance, head to The Courthouse, Bordellos or The Outback for the latest music, cocktails and fun.
