Manx Menu Dessert: Honey & Almond Cake
We’re thrilled to enter our Honey and Almond Cake into the Manx Menu competition—a sweet, nutty and fluffy creation made with Cooil Girl Manx eggs, Laxey Glen Mills flour, butter, sugar, almonds and delicious Isle of Man honey from Mr. Owens in St. Johns, who’s just around the corner from the café! The natural floral notes of Manx honey infuse the cake with a subtle sweetness that pairs beautifully with the nutty crunch of almonds.
A dessert that’s as comforting as it is indulgent, our Honey & Almond Cake is perfect as a dessert, an afternoon treat or paired with a cup of tea or coffee.
