About
Southern Swimming Pool is a family-friendly swimming pool dedicated to promoting a safe, fun environment for all to enjoy.
We offer the opportunity to play, exercise, or relax and are always looking to expand our offering.
Our indoor heated pool measures 25m x 7.5m with a depth ranging from 1m at the shallow end to 1.9m in the deep end.
The changing rooms are set out as a cubicle village, with separate male and female group changing. There is an accesible WC/shower/changing cubicle available. Lockers take pound coins or pound tokens, there are open showers on your way to poolside, and there is also underfloor heating thoughout.
We have a variety of sessions:
Public session - open to all
Lane swimming - suitable for swimming lengths of the pool
Fun session - Large mats, floats, balls and toys open to everyone wanting to play
Family session - open to all - like a fun session without the large mats
Spectators can view the pool from the ground level viewing area, or from the upstairs gallery.
We welcome everyone into our facility, and if you have any additional needs, please let us know and we will help in anyway that we can.

- Accessible parking - We have 3 accessible spaces located at the side of the facility closest to the main entrance. Please be aware that there is no rear space before the carriageway of the school grounds.
