Shee Dy Vea

About

Shee Dy Vea is a charming, family-run self-catering holiday home set in a peaceful spot overlooking the beautiful bay of Port Erin in the south of the Isle of Man. With its relaxed coastal feel and personal touch, it’s the perfect place to unwind and enjoy time by the sea. The property offers three luxurious bedrooms (2 x King size rooms, and 1 twin), a cosy lounge, a family bathroom and toilet, a separate WC, and a spacious kitchen/dining room with wonderful views stretching North across Port Erin beach and the village.

Upstairs, a bright 360 degree viewing lounge sits higher up in the house, offering sweeping panoramic views across the bay towards Bradda Head and out over the open sea. At the rear of the property you’ll find a private, sheltered sun terrace, an ideal place to enjoy a morning coffee or relax in the evening sea air. Parking is available just outside the house for up to 4 cars, and the property also benefits from its own private driveway.

Port Erin itself is only moments away. A footpath directly opposite the property leads straight down to the beach in less than five minutes. From here you can enjoy everything from boat trips to the Calf of Man and dinghy sailing, to paddleboarding or exploring the scenic Raad Ny Foillan (The Way of the Gull) coastal footpath. If you prefer a slower pace, the village also offers a lovely selection of friendly bars, restaurants, and cafés.

The Steam Railway station is also just a five-minute walk from the property. From here you can take a scenic journey to Douglas or hop off along the way to explore the island’s charming towns and villages.

We look forward to welcoming you to Shee Dy Vea and hope you enjoy this special corner of Port Erin as much as we do.
