About
Langness Lighthouse Cottages are the ultimate self-catering accommodation. Beautifully restored, they are situated on Langness peninsula at the southernmost point of the Isle of Man, these cottages are the perfect getaway to escape and immerse yourself in nature.
Langness is an area of special scientific interest (ASSI) and officially recognised by UNESCO as “one of the best places in the world to explore nature", famous for diverse bird and marine-life. From these idyllic cottages your only neighbours will be Basking sharks, dolphins, Minke whales and families of seals.
Langness Lighthouse Cottages are just a 5 minute drive from Ronaldsway Airport or a 20 minute drive from Douglas Steam Packet Company ferry terminal.
The Isle of Man has the largest concentration of dark sky sites in the British Isles and some of the clearest skies in Europe. One of the sites is very local to Langness, located on Fort Island a short drive away. For those who enjoy golf, nearby is the world-renowned Castletown Golf Links, a championship links course. Book your tee time on their website!
Castletown is the nearest town, and it's full of history! Explore Castle Rushen or The Old House of Keys to learn about the Isle of Man's storied past. Castletown also offers restaurants and pubs, serving fresh food and local ales.
Langness Lighthouse Cottages are managed by local self-catering accommodation company, Island Escapes. Visit their website to book the West Cottage or the East Cottage.
