The Isle of Man is a truly unique place.
As well as a stunning and diverse environment, it boasts a robust modern economy, a long and proud heritage, a vibrant cultural scene, a thriving home-grown food and drink sector and strong and active community.
UNESCO – the United Nations’ Educational Scientific and Cultural Organisation – has awarded the Isle of Man world Biosphere status, in recognition that it is such a special place for people and nature. The Island is the only entire nation to hold Biosphere status – and this is bringing recognition on a global scale.
Accommodation and attraction providers can apply to sign up as partners and act as ambassadors for UNESCO Biosphere Isle of Man.
