Aquabikes

Jump aboard their easy to ride, high performance and pedal powered Chiliboats. Chiliboats are bicycles with stable catamaran pontoons that float on the water so you can cycle on the sea. Families and friends can experience this unique new water sport activity from the Isle of Man’s beautiful bays.

Derbyhaven Bay

Visitors to Derbyhaven Bay and its surrounding coastline can now learn more about its fascinating birdlife, thanks to beautifully illustrated signs. They show many of the species that use the Area of Special Scientific Interest and offer tips on how to use it sensitively.

Ayres Discovery Trail at Ayres National Nature Reserve

A new Nature Discovery Trail at the Ayres National Nature Reserve has been created for families.  The trail is a mile long and passes through different habitats on the reserve. The route is available from the Discovery Centre and explorer rucksacks full of items to help engage children with wildlife on route can be hired. As part of a collaboration Manx Wildlife Trust and Department for Environment, Food and Agriculture guided walks of the Ayres are available for groups. Please email ecopolicy@gov.im to organise.

A three bed link detached dormer bungalow with lovely sea and rural views. On the ground floor there is a lounge/diner, kitchen, bedroom and shower room. Upstairs there are two further bedrooms and a bathroom. Outside there is a grassed garden and seating area with nearby parking. There is also a small single garage if required. 

Island Rover

A newly built cosy Shepard’s style hut in a nook on the camping grounds at Laxey. Sleeping two in a full size double bed with kitchenette and outside terrace. In walking distance is the beach, Manx Electric Railway and plenty of scenic walking routes.
