About

Ravenscliffe Lodge is the private wing of an elegant Victorian home dating back to 1849, perfect for a self-catering stay on the Isle of Man and occupying a prominent position at the harbour entrance overlooking Douglas Bay.

The lodge property (originally being the Servants Quarters) adjoins the main Ravenscliffe House, though is a completely separate house of its own, self-contained and private with its own entrance door, lounge , hallway and kitchen on the ground floor with bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs.


The location is a convenient 10 minute walk from the Inner Harbour, Town Centre bars and cafes, bus and steam train stations, Tesco Supermarket and the main shopping thoroughfare.

A short walk or drive across the Inner harbour bridge takes you to the Promenade, Douglas beach and Ferry Terminal, where there are regular ferries from Liverpool, Heysham, Belfast and Dublin and a Tourist Welcome Centre. From here, you can plan everything there is to do on the Island from, Horse Tram rides, trike rides to Electric or Steam Railway trips, walks in the Glens or on the beaches, Car Hire & Electric Cycle Hire.

Accommodating 4 guests, and with an emphasis on comfort, Ravenscliffe Lodge is set within private grounds enclosed by high stone turreted walls and accessed via a feature stone archway entrance.

Beautiful surrounding gardens contain character Victorian Brass lamp posts and the Lodge has a homely lounge with dining facilities including a cosy fireplace, a 42” flat screen TV and DVD player.

The kitchen/ dining areas include all essentials, and a separate utility room has a washing machine and tumble dryer.

The Master bedroom has a 6' King-sized bed with ensuite toilet, washbasin, bath & overhead shower. The bedroom has a large sitting area comprising of two double sofas, coffee table & remote 40" Tv.
The Twin room is located off the landing area next to the second bathroom & toilet. This bedroom has two single beds with a wardrobe, dresser, safe deposit box and wall mounted remote tv.
A wooden cot plus a travel cot with linen is available to guests.

* Ravenscliffe Lodge is open all year to guests. Low-Season minimum 3 night stay commencing any day of the week. High-Season minimum 7 night stays commencing Saturday. The property is accessible from 15:00hrs onwards and vacated by 10:00am on your departure day. Full access details are provided to Guests within 10 days of arrival.
On-site parking for a maximum two cars is available to Guests with the use of a single garage providing cover for Motorbikes or cycles.
