About

Note that we also have a self-catering Manx stone cottage and three B&B rooms.  All can be viewed and booked on our website www.relaxatballawyllin.co.uk.

Orchard Cottage and Meadow Cottage are luxurious, high quality, open plan dome-shaped cottages, designed and built on the Isle of Man. They each have a super king sized bed, lounge area with wood-fired stove and 55” TV with Freesat, wi-fi, kitchen area (including dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge, freezer, oven and microwave) and spacious shower room.

The cottages are set in the grounds of Ballawyllin Farm within our orchard and meadow areas.  Each has its own outside patio area for relaxing and enjoying the spectacular view down the Baldwin Valley, local birdlife and wildlife. Both have access to their own hot tub, and share access to an outdoor sauna.  Our location in the quiet of the countryside but just 10-15 minutes’ drive from Douglas makes the cottages ideal either for a relaxing break in nature or as a base for exploring all corners of our beautiful Island.

The cottages are both single storey, with a low threshold from the patio area through the double entrance doors, and a low threshold to the shower. There is step-free access to Orchard Cottage from the parking area, via a 12m long ramp. It is suitable for those with limited mobility provided they can negotiate the access ramp.  Access to Meadow Cottage is via several flights of steps.

In the winter we provide one bag of logs for the fire for every two nights' stay, with additional bags available for purchase if required.
