A delightful two bedroom Manx cottage in Laxey, a short distance from the famous Laxey wheel, with spectacular views over Laxey Bay. No. 2 Sunnyside Terrace has been very recently, lovingly renovated to a high standard, providing modern facilities whilst maintaining a traditional, cosy feel.

A short drive from Douglas, on a private 3 cottage terrace, with off street parking and bus and electric tram stops nearby, the cottage provides the ideal location from which to explore the Island.

The lovely south facing, terraced garden is a real sun trap in the Summer, ideal for a relaxing day or a barbeque. The Summerhouse offers an ideal store for bikes.

Enjoy a stroll to Laxey harbour, beach or village, with amenities including shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs. The Snaefell Mountain Railway sets off from Laxey on regular trips to the summit of Snaefell, the highest peak on the island with stunning views.

The fully equipped, handcrafted farmhouse kitchen comprises range cooker with induction hob and double oven, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher and Belfast sink together with a wide range of utensils . The dining table provide ample space for six people to enjoy a meal.

The cottage’s feature open fireplaces, original wooden floors , open beams and stable door provide a truly traditional ambience.

The lounge is comfortable and has a TV (with Freesat), DVD player and I-Pod docking station. Wi-fi is provided free of charge.

The two good sized bedrooms have vaulted ceilings and exposed beams, with king size bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers in each. The main bedroom has a 32" flatscreen TV receiving freesat, plus a bed side radio with I-pod dock.

The bathroom is fitted with a high quality traditional style suite including a bath tub with 9” fixed rain shower rose with additional detachable shower attachment.

Linen & towels are provided with washing machine & ironing facilities. Range of DVDs, books and outdoor furniture are available for guests use.

We note that in common with many old Manx cottages the staircase is quite steep, therefore anyone with reduced mobility should consider this prior to booking.

We look forward to welcoming you to Sunnyside Terrace and the Isle of Man.
