Catering for absolute beginners through to those with more experience, the Isle of Man provides a stunning backdrop to test your strength in a variety of indoor and outdoor climbing adventures. 

Through Adventurous Experience, you can try rock climbing around the Manx Coastline where you can take in the stunning scenery at the breath-taking Chasms.  Or you can try an exciting 110ft cliff abseil or a free-fall abseil from a tree with The Venture Centre. Don’t worry - they have an onsite training wall for you to build up your confidence and experience first! 

If you’ve got a head for heights, why not join Ape Mann Adventure Park in one of the Island's largest plantations where you can travel through the trees on a maze of rope and wires? With a high rope course and the zip wire, you’ll soon forget where (and how old!) you are. The adventure park also includes one of the UK's highest sets of Monkey tree climbing hardware – a real challenge for all! 

If the weather turns, you can still get your climbing fix from an indoor climbing centre with over 2,000 square foot of climbing wall. For complete beginners, seasoned outdoor climbers, bouldering geniuses or anything in-between, the Hot Rocks Climbing wall lets you enjoy overhanging sections, vertical walls, traverses, bouldering caves and more. They regularly change the routes to keep you continuously occupied with fresh, exciting challenges. 

Whatever your level, the Isle of Man provides a spectacular location to climb or abseil in style. With over 40% of the land unpopulated and uncultivated, you can explore to your heart’s content after getting your climbing fix.
