About
A short drive from Douglas down south you can discover the Murray’s Motorcycle Museum in Santon which is located just before the Fairy Bridge. A small but packed museum of treasured machines and memorabilia and a must visit pit stop for motorsport enthusiasts.
From here continue on the road down south to Ballasalla to explore the Manx Aviation and Military Museum. You can discover the amazing story of civil and military aviation in the Isle of Man and also find out about the Island and its people both at home and in the armed forces in wartime.
Leaving the museum, make your way around to the coast to Derbyhaven Beach which is a secluded cove that lies on the south-eastern tip of the Isle of Man and forms a crescent around the shallow, east-facing bay. This part of the coastline is a good place to come wildlife watching.
Whilst touring the south - take a lap of the 4.25 mile Billown Circuit raced at the Southern 100 Course and then veer into Castletown which is home to the medieval Castle Rushen. From Castletown, make your way into the centre of the island to the pretty village of St Marks. You can divert to St Johns via the Ballamodha Straight to see Tynwald Hill before choosing the TT Course back to Douglas.
