Eat, drink and relax during your visit to the Isle of Man. You’re sure to find something here to awaken your senses and tempt your taste buds.

The Isle of Man prides itself on the quality and variety of its locally produced food and drink – from freshly caught seafoodto succulent meat and specially brewed beers and spirits.

A visit to the Island is the perfect opportunity to see what our local producers, farmers and fishermen do best. From fresh Manx seafood at Paddy's Fish to locally made vodka at Bifrost Vodka, you'll be suitably spoilt for choice.

If you’re a fan of seafood, you must sample Manx Kippers from Moore's Traditional Curers. They are delicious herring fillets that have been smoked over hot oak chips to provide a rich, smokey flavour. Or how about Manx Queen Scallops - Queenies as they are more commonly known - which are sustainably sourced from Manx waters?

If you’d rather meat, you’ll find a large selection to choose from on the Island, including the rich and tasty Loaghtan Lamb - which comes from an unusual horned sheep which is believed to have been brought to the Isle of Man by the Vikings.

And for those visitors with a sweet tooth, make sure you don’t miss out on creamy Manx ice cream, handmade confectionary and traditional cakes including the exquisite Manx Bonnag.

You’ll be able to sample this produce at the regular farmers’ markets, supermarkets and the many cafés, pubs and restaurants around the Island.

Establishments which are proud to make maximum use of the Island’s rich harvest of local produce, and which have met a strict criteria that verifies this, will display a Harvest Isle of Man plaque within their eatery – make sure you visit them for a taste of real local flavour!
