After a long absence of scheduled full-day sightseeing for independent travellers, Mann Link Travel via its website www.VisitIOM.co.uk is proud to announce the launch of two premium full day coach tours beginning in May 2026. In partnership with local transport specialists Opul Coaches, these tours mark a significant return to traditional Manx tourism in Mann Link Travel’s 44th year of business.
Designed for both residents and visitors, the tours provide a seamless, fully escorted experience led by highly qualified IOM Blue Badge Guides. These curated itineraries revive the classic “grand tour” format that has largely been exclusive to cruise ship passengers in recent years.
The Itineraries:
Southern Splendour: A nostalgic journey starting with a steam railway trip to Castletown, including guided tours of the Old House of Keys and Castle Rushen. The route continues through Cregneash to The Sound, returning via Port Erin and the scenic "Plains of Heaven."
Northern & Western Wonders: A comprehensive circuit featuring the iconic Laxey Wheel and a journey on the Manx Electric Railway to Ramsey. The afternoon explores Peel’s House of Manannan, followed by a visit to the historic Tynwald Hill in St Johns.
Reviving a Legacy:

Tours will run throughout the summer months with prices starting at £79.50 per person, with discounted rates available for children aged 16 and under.
