About

The Mill House is a fully modernised, 500 year old converted Mill in a secluded spot.  The property is set in 50 acres of woodland, farmland, lawn and the Fairy Glen with a salmon river.

We have 7 bedrooms - all with en suite bathrooms and 6 bedrooms have direct access to the outside. We only cater for groups of a minimum of  8 upto 14 guests for two or more nights.

Downstairs there is a large (15m x 5m) room suitable for presentations, workshops, functions, courses, entertainment or can be converted into a period drawing room with adjoining period dining room.  Also, a kitchen/sitting room and a conservatory with an oak table that can seat up to 14 guests.  There is additional space in the conservatory to seat at least 20 guests.

The Mill House is heated by air source heat pump and solar panels.

We have hosted yoga, mindfulness, silent retreats, TT and Manx Classic group guests and weddings (with tepees in the gardens). We have also hosted large functions with foraged food dinners and for charitable groups such as the Manx Heart Foundation (lunch for 30) and the RNLI (evening drinks for 70).  We are open to possibilities.
