Curraghs Wildlife Park is the perfect place for a fun-filled family day out; there’s so much to see and do – you won’t know where to start! There are over 350 of the world’s animals to discover set over 40 acres of beautiful, natural scenery.

Start exploring today to find out more about Curraghs wonderful wildlife and immersive habitats. Kids and nature lovers will love learning about all the different animals, from Penguins to Meerkats, to Wallabies to Monkeys – there’s plenty to keep everyone entertained.  

To add to your experience, make sure you visit the Orchard line miniature railway and explore the Enchanted wood; a quirky play area set deep within the parks surroundings. Take a bounce on the Jumping pillow before settling down for some lunch at Curraghs on-site café.

To make the most of your visit, why not enjoy one of the animal experiences. This is a fantastic opportunity to get up close to some of your favourite animals and learn more about how Curraghs zoo keepers take care of the animals at the park. Curraghs Wildlife Park looks forward to welcoming you during your visit to the Isle of Man.

The Park is a committed member of the zoological organisations BIAZA (British and Irish Association of Zoos and Aquaria) and EAZA the European Association. BIAZA is a professional organisation which represents its members and promotes the values and conservation work of good zoos and aquariums.

Exciting news- we now have a NEW nature trail through the wetland of scientific interests, and we cant wait for you to try it.

Currently the new online booking system is being set up, in the meantime you can just walk up and pay on the day.

Group Bookings
Are you a group of at least 10 paying people? Then you can qualify for our group booking rate. Please inform the Park at least 24 hrs in advance if you wish to make a group booking. Group admission prices do not include a donation to the Conservation Fund.

Opening Times

* The Curragh's Wildlife Park opens 7 days a week, 9.30am-5pm from March to the end of October and during the school Christmas holidays and February half term holidays (with the exception of Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day). Outside these times it opens 4 days a week Thursday to Sunday.

Road Directions

The Curraghs Wildlife Park is in the north of the Island on the A3, halfway between the towns of Ramsey and Kirk Michael.

From the south (including airport) and west, follow the main road signs to Ramsey. After passing through Ballaugh village, you will find us about 1km along the road on the left.

From the North, follow the TT course towards Peel from Ramsey. After passing through Sulby Village, we are about 1km on the right.

From Douglas (including the Sea Terminal), follow signs for the TT course, if you arrive at Ballacraine, follow the directions from the South and West, if you arrive at Ramsey, follow the directions from the North.

Public Transport Directions

Bus is a great way to visit the Curraghs Wildlife Park. The Park is served very well by routes 5, 6, 6A and 6C
