Located in one of the most beautiful and picturesque settings on the Island. The Sulby Glen Hotel & Stores is a traditional country inn nestling at the foot of the beautiful Sulby Glen, offering uninterrupted views of mountains and glens. Under the watchful eye of resident owners Rosemary Christian and her sons, you can relax by the open log fire in the bar, or dine in our welcoming and homely lounge.

A warm welcome and first class service is always guaranteed at the Sulby Glen Hotel. 

Home cooked food is our speciality and you can be sure to enjoy a gourmet delight prepared and cooked by our highly acclaimed chefs.

Real ales and a wide selection of connoisseur spirits are our forte, and we are proud to boast, the Sulby Glen Hotel has been voted Isle of Man Breweries Pub of the Year, twice voted CAMRA pub of the year and are Holders of the prestige Cask Marque. With a selection specially selected ales and Gins and an extremely wide selection of spirits on display.

The 10 en-suite bedrooms provide a cosy atmosphere and can accommodate up to 17 guests. There is also 20 parking spaces onsite for guests.

Road Directions

From the Airport:

Leave Airport and turn right and take the third exit at roundabout proceed past front of the Airport to second roundabout, straight over, to third roundabout, straight over to mini roundabout, then turn left. Proceed on this road until you come to a cross roads, appox 1 mile, turn right past Cement Company and follow directions through Foxdale to traffic lights on to Kirk Michael, Ballaugh, and Sulby Crossroads, We are opposite the Local Shop and Church on the main road.

From Ferry:

Leave terminal, and proceed to roundabout closest to the sea, turn left taking first exit along the Promenade until you come to Traffic lights at the Villa Marina (Theatre) turn left and proceed to top of hill, through second traffic light to third set turn right past the Grandstand, to the large roundabout. Take the second exit right, proceed to roundabout and turn left first exit follow this road over the mountain until you come to a metal bridge over the road, turn left down small twisting road through the glen till you come to the Church we are in front of you.

If misty on the Mountain / or Mountain Road is closed, go straight across the roundabout toward Onchan, follow signs for Laxey then Ramsey, go past the bus station on your left and proceed to the traffic lights in front of the Town Hall, Swan Hotel on your left, turn left here proceed on this Road for 4.5 miles and you will see us opposite the Church.

Alternative route, (Check Cronk e Voddy is open before you try this way ) leave terminal and proceed to roundabout take the first left and proceed to second roundabout, take second exit, through 2 sets of traffic lights to top of hill by garage ( 3rd set of lights) proceed straight on till you come to the quarter bridge hotel and a double roundabout go straight over these roundabouts and proceed past rugby grounds till you come to Braddan Bridge and Church, straight on at this roundabout. Follow this road till you come to Ballacraine traffic lights, take a sharp right and proceed through Glen Helen and on to Kirk Michael and then Ballaugh, just keep on the main road though out. After Ballaugh (Raven Hotel on the left ) we are 2.5 miles on the left hand side of the road, turn at crossroads into the Hotel car park.
