The George

About

Located in the ancient capital of Mann, The George Hotel is a registered historic building dating back to 1833. Steeped in history, some of it a little dark, The George has a well earned place on the Castletown ghost walk. The en-suite guestrooms include five kingsize bedrooms, three twins and two singles - the front rooms enjoying superb views of Castle Rushen just across the market square.

Lunch is served from 12 to 3pm and dinner from 5.30 to 9.00pm with the menu, offering daily specials and choices for children, displayed on a blackboard and dishes freshly prepared to order.  Speciality teas and coffees are available all day and the pub is only five minutes by car from Isle of Man Airport.

Training and conference meeting room facilities are available for day attendees while the guestroom accommodation allows for residential courses.  For  more information call 01624 822533.
