The Abbey

About

The Abbey is the hidden gem of the Isle of Man. It is set in green and luscious surroundings with mature trees, a babbling stream and an ancient monastery for company.

The Abbey is made up of four spaces which work together in perfect harmony: there are two main restaurant areas, the garden room and the private dining room. The restaurant resides in a building that is steeped in history, having been reincarnated myriad times over the past few centuries. Inside you will find an assortment of spaces, each with their own personality, yet a sense of wellbeing pervades throughoutWe believe in using fresh, seasonal ingredients and in our eyes there is no better place for this than the Isle of Man. With this approach our menu is an ever evolving feast of local delicacies.

Our tea parties are legendary! At the Abbey our afternoon tea is always a special event. There is nothing quite like taking a whole afternoon out for tea-sipping, cake-eating catch up with friends. Enjoy a vast array of hand-made sandwiches and cakes and choose from a selection of teas from around the world during a magical afternoon tea party at The Abbey.

There is always a chatter of friendly voices and the tantalising aroma of delicious food; at The Abbey, everyone is welcome.
