About

Officially opened in 1900, the Douglas Town Hall building is an impressive building in the heart of the island’s capital. Located a few minutes walk away from both the high street and the marina, it provides a location that is both convenient and visually striking.

Douglas Borough Council has conference and community facilities available for hire.

Each venue has the flexibility to provide the ideal setting for functions as diverse as conferences, training sessions, seminars and corporate hospitality. All venues provide disabled and lift access. There is the Council chamber and committee room in Douglas town hall and the Meadows Pavillion at Douglas Golf Course.

The Council Chamber, which is 47ft long and 33ft wide, is the perfect size for any event and with its arched and panelled ceiling designed by Warings of London, it provides an imposing and unique setting for events.

Additionally, the Meadows Pavilion at Douglas Golf Course and Noble's Park Pavilion Community Room are also available for conferences and functions. The Meadows Pavilion is located just outside the town centre and provides ample parking, as well as a modern location for your event as well as a spectacular view over the lush green golf course designed by the famous Dr Alister McKenzie.
